    Hey Ya’ll, I'm Kaitlyn!

    Cask & Cleaver was created around the idea that life is truly worth living.

    Six very long years working corporate & truly feeling I had more to offer, we took the biggest risk to bring this to life. Being born & raised in Redding + always wanting to dive into a food based speciality, I am super proud to bring one of the first speciality cheese experiences to my hometown.

    To best describe my personally, I’d say i’m very meticulous & passionate, an introvert & an extrovert spilt right the middle, I love rewatching the same episodical series several times throughout the year, and I love to chasing history.

    On my off time, you can find me spending way to much money at target & making sourdough bread.

About the company

At Cask & Cleaver, we are all about discovering new ways to connect our community with well you guessed it: CHEESE

Where our journey began two and a half years ago with a singular passion: to break into food industry in Redding… but not just any industry.

What initially seemed like a straightforward endeavor soon unfolded into a profound connection —a shared appreciation for the diverse nuances of cheese across all palates. As we delved deeper, it became evident that our community was slowing after something more.

Thus, we embarked on a mission to immerse everyone we knew in the artistry of cheese, starting with tantalizing cheeseboards, never-ending cheese tables, enlightening cheese courses, and ultimately culminating in the creation of our very own cheese shop.

Through every connection within our community, we have learned its not so much about the cheese itself - its about the desire for more experiences, connection & discovery.

From the earliest days of our inception to the present moment, our community has been our greatest advocates, embracing our vision to bring exceptional cheese experiences to north state.
